Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Mr Bot ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the iOS application. We designed Mr Bot with privacy in mind: the app does not require an account, does not run analytics, and does not contain advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.

1. What Mr Bot does

Mr Bot is an evening AI planner. You describe what you want to do tomorrow in free-form text, and the app uses Google's Gemini AI to transform that text into a structured daily schedule. You can edit the schedule, reorder tasks, and chat with the AI to adjust the plan.

2. Information stored on your device

The following information is stored only on your device using iOS local storage (SharedPreferences). It never leaves your phone unless you uninstall the app or explicitly send it to an AI provider (see Section 3):

• Plans and schedules you create (titles, times, notes, completion state)
• Chat messages exchanged with Mr Bot
• Attached photos you add to tasks (stored as local file paths)
• Your onboarding completion flag and AI consent flag
• Your evening reminder time and whether the reminder is enabled

You can delete everything at any time from Settings → Clear all data. Uninstalling the app also removes this data permanently.

3. Information sent to third parties

When you enable the AI consent toggle (first-use dialog or Settings → AI), Mr Bot sends the following to Google Gemini API so the AI can build or adjust your schedule:

• The free-form text you type when creating a plan
• The current schedule being discussed
• Your chat messages within the Mr Bot chat screen

Google's handling of this data is governed by the Gemini API Terms and Google Privacy Policy. If you do not enable AI consent, no text is sent externally and AI features are disabled.

You can revoke AI consent at any time in Settings → AI. Revoking consent stops all future calls to the Gemini API.

4. What we do NOT collect

• No user accounts, no logins, no passwords
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
• No advertising identifiers, no tracking, no third-party ad networks
• No access to your contacts, calendar, location, microphone, or health data
• No data collected from children

5. Permissions requested

• Notifications — to deliver the optional evening reminder. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; we do not operate a push server.
• Camera / Photo Library — only if you choose to attach a photo to a task. Photos stay on your device.

6. Data retention

Plans, chat history, and settings remain on your device until you clear them or uninstall the app. Messages sent to the Gemini API are retained by Google according to their retention policies; Mr Bot does not store copies on any server.

7. Support requests

If you contact us through the in-app Support Form, the name, email, subject, and message you submit are stored in our Firebase (Google Cloud) database solely for the purpose of responding to you. We do not use this information for marketing. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us (see Section 10).

8. Children's privacy

Mr Bot is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

• Delete everything locally — Settings → Clear all data, or uninstall the app.
• Revoke AI consent — Settings → AI toggle off.
• Access / deletion of support-form data — email us at the address below.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. The "Effective date" above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
